Ame ga fuette mo…

It is ‘taifu’ (typhoon) season in Japan. It may sound scary, but it’s just rain storms that blow in from the sea on an almost daily basis. It’s quite beautiful. The rain drops are thick. Falling from billowing, rolling clouds they shower the ground, the buildings, and historic sites that we visited today – the wind also blows. Once it quiets, the air is clear. It is calm. It is simply serene. Add that on to seeing the people here – in traditional kimonos – visiting the shrines, the leaves glistening in the Japanese temple gardens… Rain or shine (ame ga fuette mo), Japan and its people are unforgettable. Now, time to get ready for our Tokyo concert! Thank you for reading and following our journey. – Lexi
